founder & principal designer

Stephanie Perez O’Boyle was born and raised in Westchester, New York, as a first-generation American whose family is from Colombia. A self-taught interior designer, she is known for creating layered, lived-in homes that reflect a family’s story, travels, and heirlooms.

She graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in Journalism and minors in Business and Communications. Before founding her studio, Stephanie spent a decade in New York City working in Public Relations at MTV, VH1, and several digital media brands. She led high-profile press campaigns for marquee programs including the Video Music Awards, TRL, and MTV News.

Managing large production teams, navigating high-pressure environments, and meeting immovable deadlines prepared Stephanie to oversee complex renovations with clarity and precision. Most importantly, her years in communications shaped her belief that every space should tell a story. Today, she brings that same narrative-driven perspective to her clients’ homes — designing spaces that feel thoughtful, personal, and enduring.

Stephanie founded her eponymous design firm in 2021. In 2024, she was named a House Beautiful Next Wave designer, and her work has been featured in World of Interiors, Country Living, Westchester Magazine, House Beautiful, and other national and international publications. She now lives in Westchester with her husband (another Lehigh grad), their two children, and goldendoodle.
